last minute MM reminder

Hey guys! Tomorrow's Monday! Sorry I didn't get the topic out sooner...I'm really going to try to get better at that so more people can do buddy posts. I know it's hard to get to day-of. Feel free to post about this ANYTIME you can...I'll still link to it and it'll be beneficial for people who scan the archives.

Okay, tomorrow's topic: Rainy Day Activities. GO!

Two notes: The Pigbear's Big Give is BLOWING ME AWAY. If that growing number over there -----------------------------------------------------------------------> isn't a testament to the power of good in this world then I don't know what is. I'm seriously stunned. I'm embarassed to even tell you what number I was hoping for. Apparently God is teaching me that I need to dream a little bigger. :)

Second, I am whole-heartedly committing myself to answer emails tomorrow night. I promise I'm not ignoring anyone!

-play-doh
-puzzles
-tea party
-bake cookies
-Aquadoodle
-paint toenails
-have a playdate over
-fill a big tub with rice or beans and let the kids play in it with scoops, cups, shovels, etc. It's like being in a sandbox. It's a little messy, but very easy to clean up and super fun!
-paint with watercolors
-make mini pizzas. Take canned biscuit dough and flatten it with a roller. Add some pizza sauce, herbs, parm cheese and mozzarella cheese and bake for about 15 minutes. Kids love to "roll" the dough and add the toppings!

oh good topic! I'd also like to throw music out there for a future topic. I always love to hear about great music for toddlers as Taryn has quite an odd list of favorites ;)

Thanks Michele! I'm going to repost your comment on tomorrow's post so everyone who goes there will see it.

Lyndsay, that's on my list but there have been so many requests for it just lately that I think I'll bump it to the top and we'll do it next Monday. Yay!

Good job Pigbear Blog readers with all your generous donations!! It's heartwarming to know there are so many people willing to help a complete stranger. I hope the family is on their way to healing and that things only look up for them from now on! I'm sure it will touch them deeply when they get their 'gift' and hope they know that even though there is darkness, there is also light.

Hi Erin.
I Have tried to send you an e-mail twice, and for some reason I can't e-mail to yahoo accounts right now.
I have a couple of questions, & don't want to ramble on your blog.
Do you have an alternate e-mail, or can you send ma one and maybe I can reply to it?

Thanks - Mandy
