joy: a definition.

feeling baby fingers grasping your hands.

munching on crackers in the grass.

discovering new places to explore, navigate, conquer.

looking up and seeing your Daddy.

sharing secrets with your brother.

being tickled by grass blades...and mommy's foot.

learning to balance.

playing chase in an open field.

enjoying life with a new perspective.

making your brother laugh...

and having him return the favor.

playing pretend.

soaking in every precious, imperfect moment.

more here.

"Imperfect moment"?? I didn't see a single one of those!!! Looks like you had a very special family outing and we were lucky that you brought the camera along. Days like this are what memories are made of.

His smile kills me. The one of him looking up at Brent is priceless.

Keep bringing that camera along, my friend!

Wow, Erin! Your babies and those pictures are just breathtaking! What an absolutely fabulous day! I know you must have enjoyed it as much as the kids did.

I love the "balancing" picture of Ephraim. It looks like he's doing a one-armed push-up! And the one of Sarah peeking out from under the crook of arm is so sweet.

I am absolutely in love with your pictures. How are you able to capture such wonderful moments. Everytime the camera comes out, my 13 month old stops what he's doing. I'd love to hear your tips.

I have the same thoughts every time I leave the house...to bring the camera or not! I usually end up taking it along, never taking pictures and then the ONE time I decide to leave it at home...I want to kick myself because I SHOULD have brought it with me! lol

Anyway...I love your work.
I love your family.
I love your photography.
I love your blog!
