Grandma Dixie and I were up bright and early this morning waiting for Sarah to wake up. of course, she chose today to sleep until 7. When the sleepyhead finally roused she was greeted by three surprises - her Great Grandma, her Great Aunt Lori, and a NEW dolly! This is the first doll she's shown an interest in. It's kind of sad. Dollies are for big girls, not my little baby girl. Anyway, it's been great fun watching Sarah and her new friend playing together. Mainly Sarah enjoys chewing on her hand. Dolly doesn't seem to mind.

What precious moments with many generations all in one room! Enjoy!
Did great grama sing "I Dropped Dolly in the Dirt"?
so cute. what great vibrant colors in that first shot!
How fun! I can just hear Sarah's screams of delight when looking at those pictures. Have fun this week and don't let your family spoil her too much :-)
No such luck on not spoiling that girl, sorry! :)
Sarah, It so great that you had this moment with your Great G'ma! One of my very favorite Christmas memories was when my Great G'ma gave my sister and me baby dolls that were just the same, but dressed in different colors of Amish clothes. We still have them - and I can still see my Great G'ma's face so perfectly from that night.

So good that little Sarah is enjoying her "DOLLIE", even though fingers lost won't matter in the momment. Just wait until she wants to know why her mom would let this happen. Remember, Erin, you could'nt beleive that your let your mom leave the house with that, "One-of-a kind shirt!"
Love you all....
