"that was fun!"

We all said it at least three times on the drive back from our biking trip this morning. I would call it a "bike ride" but Pi'bears kept insisting that we were on a "t-w-iiiip" so trip it is. (I think riding in Daddy's truck = trip).

Brent loaded up the bikes, the trailer, and the new kangaroo bike seat and we headed off to one of Huntsville's greenways for a ride. It was awesome. We haven't done anything like that since before I was pregnant. We were a little hesitant about Ephraim because we weren't sure how he would do in the trailer. Relatively recent history has taught us that 7 month olds aren't always happy creatures in such contraptions (Amy: remember this?). Turns out Ephraim is just as chill as we suspected though and he thought nothing of it. He even fell asleep for the last 10 minutes of the ride. I mean, twip.

Check out Pi'bears, all suited up. I love how she looks like a little bubblehead with her helmet on.

Sarah road with me in her kangaroo seat and Ephraim was pulled by Daddy. After the girls beat the boys handily in a little racing action we stopped for some snacks, water, and exploring.

The bike trailer is a surprisingly steady perch for the 5d...

That's some hat B-ro's sporting, huh?

You guys know how much I love to put babies on roads...

Crazy hat and bubblehead...gotta love 'em!

okay, I'm procrastinating just a tad...I'll get to the questions that bred tomorrow! =)

Looks like fun! You have some gorgeous places to ride.

And as for yesterday's post - I'll be honest, I usually try to check anyway but figure you're busy with the fam on weekends. Or have a shoot. I still try to make a quick peek!! Guess you can tell how popular Mama Monday's are though huh?

Awww, that's a total Shertzer "trip"! I wish we could have done that with you! Rich pulled Hayden down the SF trail today and met us downtown after the 5K, so we were kinda along with you in spirit!

Love all the photos and this post. . . totally makes me miss you (with the biking, the 4th of July trip reference, the SF trail photo reference, and just those kiddos!)

Oh, and thanks for the tip--just entered :-)

Looks like a fun outing. That is a good way to put the helmet head look. I always thought the girls looked like they could have been those bobble heads on the dashes of cars with their helmets on.
