to grandma's house we go

We arrived at my mom's house yesterday afternoon. We'll be here until Monday when we'll meet Dad and Sue in Atlanta and then make our way to their house in South Carolina for the remainder of our tour of the Southland. When we got here yesterday Sarah immediately became enthralled with Cali, the family dog. If you're a "long time reader" of Princess Pigbear then you might remember back in February or March when Sarah was delighted by a little dog named Onyx. Apparently the dog fixation has not waned. She loved grabbing Cali's tail, burying her face in her fur, and getting kisses (mommy cringed everytime but that dog was just so darn fast!). Then today we spent sometime pool-side with Grandma, Grandad, Aunt Jenn, and Brody. Brody is exactly 11 months older than Sarah and, wow, he's a big boy! It's hard to believe our little one will be in his shoes next summer. And he's so sweet to Sarah. He brought a toy over for her this morning that Jenn said he pulled out of his toybox this morning saying "baby sawah?" He's given her tons of kisses, tried to feed her his banana, pushed her in the swing and has no hesitation about handing over a toy that he thinks she might like. What a sweet boy! I'm working with dial-up here so we may only get a few pictures posted...

So when are you getting a puppy for Sarah? I am sure Sarah is loving the extra attention from Brody. It's great to see the wonderful pictures.

Ya'll look like you're having a great time! Hope you're saving some great times for the Killins visit in a few weeks! DO NOT get a dog! Alla would like nothing more than to have her very own slobbery kissing dog but that's just more work for MOM!

Well, I can see that Grama is in "heaven" just having the kids together.
Have a great time and don't worry about the dog licking, as they need the love too.
Love you....
