Sarah has made her first stuffed animal friend...with "Rae Rae". I have to admit that Brent and I encouraged this attachment and even chose which of her gazillion stuffed animals would become the chosen one. She had gotten to the point where she spent a lot of time talking in her crib before falling asleep and after waking up so we figured we'd give her someone to talk to. Apparently, RaeRae has quite a listening ear because the Pigbear has a lot to say to her. Or him. Not sure what RaeRae's gender status is yet.
It's super sweet to watch her reach for RaeRae with one hand as her eyes flutter closed and her thumb-sucking begins each night. And on the occasional night that she falls asleep before being placed her crib we just tuck RaeRae carefully in beside her, only to find the lovey cuddled up under her arm hours later. So glad to know Sarah has a someone to keep her company at night. Thanks Rae.

RaeRae looks so huggable!
You may want to keep a spare RaeRae . . . just in case he decides to hide at the worst possible time.
Give the pigbear a squeeze from Nana ><
Good thing RaeRae has big ears for listening :)
