The last time I was allowed near the keyboard I blogged about what a great little helper girl I have in Sarah. This past weekend confirmed her status. In honor of Labor Day, I guess she wanted to, well, labor. So we did. After a few near-death experiences with the stairs, we broke down and bought a couple of baby gates. Poor little Pigbear didn't know that she was jumping at the chance to help install the bars to her own jail. Just look at her with that screwdriver.

What these pictures don't show is Sarah crawling at light speed into her Mommy's lap when I used the drill. Yellow screwdriver good. Cordless drill very bad.
But even the drill didn't diminish her desire to help. I had a little landscaping work to do, and Pigbear thought I needed a supervisor. Did I do a good job? Don't take it from me...

good job with the blog! can you believe it's already time for babygates for the pigbear?! can't believe she's getting so old!
What a handy little helper you have there. Looks like a good supervisor too!
Well they don't call her John Keith’s great granddaughter for nothin ya know!
Hey, who says working with tools, such as a screw driver, is just for guys! Love the pictures!
Love you...
It looks like the boss is smiling, so good work, Brent!
She's more of a toddler than a baby now! I'm jealous of the shorts being worn - we should get some decent weather here tomorrow. Glad to see all is well with you guys.
you should have told me you needed gates and i would have sent you ours!
Nice work on the blog, big guy! You've struck yet another blow against the tyranny of women hoggin' the bloggin'! He builds babygates, he toils in the backyard, AND, God love him, HE BLOGS!! You go, girl!! (Oops, sorry , Brent, I was channeling Oprah there for a sec...) ;)
You're just now getting those gates up????
Brent, I enjoyed the blog.
Send Sarah to help her Nana ANY TIME! I always have a project going and most often need an extra hand.
Love to the Cobbs ><
