Oh, and get this. When I decided at 4:00 to make this happen when Brent got home I walked into Sarah's room and say, "Hey Sarah, when Daddy getes home do you want to go outside with your umbrella and boots and let mommy take your picture?" She gave me a quick glance before returning to what she was doing and tossed one word over her shoulder in a combination question/demand: "marshmallows."
I've ruined her for sure.

it's all in how you look at it :)
i died laughing at that one though.
whatever works - a little bribery never hurts if you get the good pics.
she is so precious and you have a wonderful natural talent!
LOVE IT! That umbrella is so cool. . . amazing what a few marshmallows can do!
These turned out great! I love the yellow!
haha! She has already started looking for the bribes. I wish I could bribe mine to sit for a picture :)
payment demanded. hysterical.
M&Ms, smarties, candy corn...whatever works! Your photos are gorgeous as always!
Oh Erin, are you doing the bribe them with little white marshmallow trick too!? Our kids are SO two!!
So classic and so two is right!
What great pictures!!! At least it is only marshmallows. Were your ears burning the other day - I saw Stephanie Owens and your name was brought up - only great things were mentioned.
Oh we've been waiting for these! On the way to dinner we were headed down SV drive and Christian said, "Hey look, a photo shoot! Those are gonna be great!" And of course they are. We could see a bright yellow outfitted Sarah posing in the driveway. So that's why Brent was parked on the street!
Marshmallows...lol. That is so cute and such a great idea. I was using M&M's but they were more mess then they were worth.
Love the pics. Very cute.
she's too much! jon asked me to get a train for him the other day and said, "make it a james, mommy." they're so funny!
Marshmallows are one of Nick's favorite snacks! He even asks me to put them in his lunch. We use to use the mini ones as markers in Cheerios Bingo and who ever won got to eat theirs as a prize.
