So today That Pigbear had other ideas. I thought she might enjoy "painting" with ketchup and mustard. It sounded like a fun, easy-clean art project. She was entertained by that for about 3.7 minutes. Then, all done. What I didn't count on was how AMAZING the easy-clean part would be. I sat her next to the sink with her feet dangling in and started trickling the water. She was thus entertained for the next 45 minutes. Toddlers. Huh.

OMG, Jada looooves playing in the water and it's one of the things I can "whip out" and sustain for a given time, the sink is a great hit. Great pictures.

yes that is one of alla's fave pastimes...it's a bit cool in the house for it right now but all summer it's my fave way of washing the sand off her after playing outside...seriously buys another 30 mins of engrossed time. in the house where it's cool:)

Water is always fun. The girls love it and would stay in it forever to play if we would let them. You would think they were fish how they love it so. Sarah looks like she was born with those wings in the banner. Lovely.
You never know what will entertain the kids. The newest expensive toy? Probably not. The box? Definitely.

Nick too loved the water - he would stay in the bath for HOURS. Another good one - PlayDoh - guaranteed at least 2 to 3 hours worth of entertainment.

My youngest loves playing in the water also. If he can't climb up on the counter fast enough before I can catch him, he'll run for the bathroom (i.e. the toilet -- ew!)
