we got our pi'bear back, pi'bear back, pi'bear back

Does anyone remember the Chili's jingle that went like this: I want my babyback, babyback, babyback (repeat)...CHILI's...babybackribs. (not sure where the question mark for that sentence goes...so...how about...here...?) Well, everytime Sarah is sick we mix up that little jingle into our battle cry: "I want my pi'bear back, pi'bear back, pi'bear back."

Good news: We've got our Pi'bear back.

Bad news: Now we're pretty sure she has pica.

While that's probably quite a stretch, she certainly has been fascinated lately with munching on dirt, sand, play rice (it's sort of food, right?), and just generally anything that she can get her grubby little hands on - see previous post. Today, it was just play rice. And pebbles. And Cheez-its. Which may debunk my pica theory.

disclaimer: For those who have expressed concern (MOM!)...NO SARAH DOES NOT HAVE PICA.

That's funny - when I saw the title I definitely sang it to "sexy back."

Glad to see that Sarah is doing well. Our little-ones are such Troopers, when they are sick. I think it hurts mom and dad...more.

Love the photos!
Love you all...

My daughter used to eat sand on the beach- we told people she was just exfoliating her digestive system! LOL!

I don't think I know a child who doesn't at least try the earth. Mine used to eat it too. So glad Sarah is feeling better.

Erin, I just wanted to say that i really enjoy visiting your site and your photography. How do you get your pictures to look like they do? I read your photography ?'s that you answered but can you give us any tips on what your settings are on the camera? Do they come out looking that great or do you adjust the lighting in Adobe??? Please do share..... I have the 85mm f1/4 canon lens and the Canon Rebel DSLR and i'm just trying to improve my skills. TIA!!
