I finally have time to post more photos and details of our trip. For those of you who don't know, Sarah and I were invited by Samantha's in-laws to spend a week in their home on a private island near Hilton Head. Caroline and Sarah were beside themselves over spending every waking moment together for an entire week. Samantha and I were giddy over having some time away from the girls while Nana Rose and Papa John did the grandparent thing. It's an amazingly beautiful home on gorgeous grounds, inhabited by two of the nicest people on the planet. What a blessing to spend the week there.
Enjoy some of my snaps from the week...and check out one.frame.a.day for more...
I haven't finished proofing all of them so I may add more later. As wonderful as it was, I sure am glad to be home!
Love the photos on the front steps, what a sweet mommy daughter moment. The bw of Sarah in her little sundress is beautiful. I need to learn how to burn the edges on some photos, it adds such a nice effect.
I keep waiting for someone to come get the girls for their golf cart ride so we can drink margaritas and watch Oprah, but it isn't happening. Thanks for taking such beautiful pictures of our trip! And what talented photographer took that gorgeous shot of you and Sarah???? I think she might give you a run for your money!
I'm so glad you got this time together. Great memories. Little Caroline's hair is getting so long and pretty...Now, keep in mind the girls can come here anytime and get a golf cart ride (we'll just have to borrow one from all the neighbors' driveways)!!
Sarah and Caroline must have been in heaven with a little puppy to chase around. Looks like you all had the perfect holiday. Tears come to my eyes thinking about you all being separated soon. But enough thinking about that. Gorgeous photos with gorgeous subjects. Gina
I really like the one with Sarah and the dog peeking around the tree - so cute! Glad you had such a great time - I wish I could go someplace like that with my "girls" for a vacation!!
Erin..I usually just lurk here..but decided to go ahead and comment..first of all, I love your banner..really eye-catching..and your photos are all so great..so glad you had a nice time...love the one on the steps!!

I love the one of them together on the beach- reminds me of two old ladies shelling in their hats- it would make a great greeting card... TFS.
