our son.

We took advantage of our day without Sarah yesterday and grabbed some "official" shots of Ephraim. I think I waited a bit too long to get the nice snuggly, curly newborn shots that so many photographyers execute so beautifully but I'm still happy with the ones we did get. And check out Brent's mad skills too! I don't end up in the photos too often and I was thrilled with the shot he got. I probably could have done without the double-chin (and considered photoshopping it out) but then decided I earned that puppy with 9 months of hard work...it's stays! At least, it stays for the photo. In real life, it has to go. :)

Happy Sunday everyone! We'll be headed back to church next week so for today we'll just enjoy our cozy, quiet home.

Yay a picture of Erin. I think they all look very lovely. He is a handsome little one. The parents aren't too bad, either.

OH! They are just PRICELESS!

As for the double chin... ummm... it doesn't count when you head is down! Everyone has one when they are leaning down like that! You look wonderful with your son.

He looks pretty snuggly and curly to me! So sweet. . . and I'm equally excited and terrified to get my camera in front of him next week. Excited, well, that needs no explanation. Terrified, cause I can't imagine ever getting a picture as good as yours!

(and I would have never ever noticed that chin had you not pointed it out!)

I can almost breathe him in through those pictures.

I can't believe how short/long ago it was since I had a newborn. Man, they change so quickly!

Oh, he's just so pretty! Sorry, I do call boys pretty when it applies. Your boy is just so sweet looking. Are you seeing any signs of his temperment? He looks like a mellow dude. Your pix are wonderful, of course. You look great and I did not see what you were complaining about. I took pictures today and was sad at my still round face! Ugh, I guess we just need to be patient.

beautiful. That's so cool that your hubby takes such great pics too! My hubby hates my camera..hah

Oh, and do not even worry about the double chin, I would not have seen or noticed it had I not been looking for the photo! We are always our own worst critics. And you DID earn it, and you look beautiful!!

Yeah, Erin, don't call attention it it, and we won't NOTICE it! Instead, lean forward and call attention to nursing boobs, huh?
