preach it, sister

Here she is, in all her prayerful glory. It seriously has become her new favorite pastime, this praying thing. Brent and I certainly don't complain. Sometimes she wants to pray with us; sometimes she needs her privacy. This morning she let us listen and Brent even got a video (I'm sure he'll share later).
I know this is totally something she mimics from our nightly routine but it still makes my heart swell just a bit to see my baby praying. I'm sure God hears her much more clearly than he does me. These little ones have a direct line, don't you think?

(I can't decide which of these I like better so you get both versions...)

maymay.

I finally had a Princess Pigbear siting in the window at our local Baby Gap store in Raleigh, NC. Oh-my-goodness, the supersized Princepessa is even MORE adorable than the regular dose I enjoy on your blog! :-) And of course I had to buy my 6 month old granddaughter that precious little hat that Sarah had on in the photo.

Ciao,
Dee

I'd really love to get my daughter more into praying. I'm not very good at doing it with her every night and my husband isn't very active.

I think it's so amazing how you are both raising her.

Is that a little book of prayers she's reading? Maybe I could start out simple with something like that. Half the time, Lily falls asleep in my arms before we even get a chance to pray together.

So darling. When I hear my older little girl pray, my heart wants to leap from my chest. Isn't it the sweetest thing? I love their innocense and trust at this age.

I am a big follower of your blog and always lurk around it. Your little Pi'Bear is so adorable. I love walking into baby gap and smiling at that litlte face knowing that I "kinda" know her.

This is just the sweetest, most precious thing to hear, Erin!

It makes my heart happy & puts a smile on my face.

Asha has to read her blessing book every night.
Ryder loves to be read to from the children's bible he received at his baptism from our Pastor & his family.
Koley loves to be read to from his own little bible as well. :)
