1) The Big Move: 11 days away
2) Birthday: tomorrow! (See Roz, you weren't late at all!)
3) Spent most of Wednesday on the all-important maternity clothes swap.

Note all the strings - you gotta love shirts with strings. Nothing screams "I'M PREGNANT!" like clothing with strings. Also note that this photo would have been part of my POTD had I been doing POTD as faithfully as I should. I'm vowing to start up again once we move and get unpacked. Promise.
4) Walked to the coffee shop with Amy this morning (and Sarah and Hayden) and boo-hooed all the way there about losing all of our friends.
5) Brent sold the truck last night. If you know anything about Brent and lil' Tan then you know this was not easy. We took pictures. We watched from the window as it drove away. One of us even cried. I'll just let you wonder who.
6) Inspired by Colleen (who just had THE BEST LOOKING 9 POUNDER EVER!) I've decided to become better at commenting in the comments section. I don't know why I never do it...I guess I just figure no one goes back to check after they ask a question or something. But I'm starting TODAY. So ask me something and I promise not to ignore you anymore!
7) Yes, I got Sarah's shirt from Cafe Press. Check it out here. So many people asked me where I got it that now I'm wondering who ELSE has a secret. Dare you to post it here. We promise not to tell :-)
8) We're actually having family photos of US taken on Monday. Thanks to Jennifer McGuire I made friends with Traci Turchin and she offered up a photo swap. No more tripod for us!
9) Our rental house in H'ville has a dressing room. This is soley because the largest bedroom still doesn't have room for a bed and a dresser. So rather than bemoan how small the rooms are I'm choosing to tell myself how lucky I'll be to have my very own dressing room. You want to be me, don't you?
10) I guess that's all I can think of. So check us out...at our "Butterfly Brunch", honoring the playgroup mommies, hosted by a dear playgroup grandmamma. Why didn't anyone tell me to shut my mouth??

11) Oh yeah. That made me think of one more thing. My hair currently looks like a big fat mushroom sitting on top of my head. I'm never getting a pixie cut again - growing it out is a BEAST. I'm getting a trim today. Either that or a weave.

That's crap. You are just jealous because my relationship with Little Tan was older than ours. And, by the way, I was not the one with tears running down my face. But, it was getting a little hot in that room...long live Tan!
Oh, I forgot to mention...I'll only be responding to comments AFTER the first one. We always ignore the first commenter. All bloggers know that the first commenter never knows what they're talking about. :-)
Is it really only a 11 days from now and you will be gone. I can't believe it and I won't believe it. You must be going crazy, thanks again for doing Maiyah's pictures with all you have to get done. Great photo Samantha!
Gina
Long live Tan. I feel your pain, Brent!! Good luck over the next 11 days getting everything together!! Daphne
Daph, I've been SO bad about answering emails but, YES, we would LOVE your help with the move. Not sure exactly when our stuff is arriving but I'll be sure to call you and invite you down. We can't wait to see you, girlie!
I know just how Brent feels. I sold my Prelude yesterday, sniff sniff. It was my first and only car as a divorced woman and was so fun fun fun to drive! I have the money, signed over the title but it still sits in my driveway -- get that thing out of here before I change my mind! Two weeks!!
HAPPY (day before your) BIRTHDAY DEE DEE!!!! Hope your day is as special as you are! Love the pic of you and Sarah. We need to see more of you on the blog so we can keep track of how big that baby is getting!! Maybe a pose once a month or so in a bikini?? haha
I feel your pain over Tan, Brent. Years ago I had a Mustang that I shed a tear or two over as it drove away too....man I loved that car!!!!
Happy Birthday Erin. Good luck with all that you have going on and your move! Wow, only 11 days.
happy early birthday. and i bet a weave would make a fun birthday memory:) but before you mentioned the mushroom, i was actually going to mention that your hair looks cute and it's growing out FAST! shows how much i know...it's like i'm the first commenter or something - hee hee.
I'll give props to Samantha on the photo. . . and you for your watermark :-)
May 26th -Happy Birthday Deed....
I hope your birthday is as speical as you are.
Great job on the picture Samantha
Hey Erin!
1...Happy Birthday
2...Congratulations on your new little secret! Love Sarah's little shirt...so cute!
3...We had that same bedroom set (comforter) and stuff in our room! I couldn't find any of the other pieces, so we got a new one. I have 2 pillow shams, if you want them, I would be more than happy to mail them to you! Just let me know!
~Kim
Happy Birthday, girl! Sorry about the H'ville house. Where in H'ville are you guys moving to? We always had good sized rooms there. A dressing room sounds fabulous though! ;) Good luck with your big move!
Kim, that's so funny that you have the same bed stuff! Especially since mine is actually two Ralph Lauren sheets that I sewed into a duvet cover. I didn't even realize that they actually MADE a set in that pattern. I'm way too cheap to actually buy it if they did...:-)
Thanks for offering to send the pillow cases. I'm actually ready for a change and plan to make something new when we move. I sure do appreciate it though!
Kristina, we're moving to the medical district but only for a few months. Then, who knows!
Looks as if you have a lot going on, these days. Moving is the pits, as far as getting ready for that day, and leaving all the good friends you all have made. Think of the "new" beginnings and the many more people and places that will be ahead of you.
You will be so much closer to your mom...that's certainly the best!!!
Love you all
Oh, by the way...it must be the time to sell our cars...Bill sold his truck, just 2 weeks ago. We bought it in 1994 and when Paul gradguated for college, we gave it to him. I sold my SUV to Paul and we had the truck, once again, to sell.
I did get the SUV that I was looking for...a LEXUS. Paul got a more reliable vehicle and Bill was sad. He did get over it, though.
Love you all...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR ERIN...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUUUU.......
CHA..CHA...CHA
FINALLY I get the credit I deserve. :)
I still think my plan of pushing the truck, on fire, off a cliff would have been a more appropriate ending. But whatever.
WEAVE! WEAVE!
Brent, were your eyeballs sweating? Mine will be when my Civic dies (another decade from now).
Erin, 'hate to say it, but I'm glad I'm not the one 'round here boo-hooing :(
Love the "Photography by Samantha"!
Happy Birthday! Hope you had a great day.
Samantha's picture is great! It's always nice to get a good shot of the one always behind the lens.
Great pic Samantha! I know how you feel about Tan. I know I was a little teary when the Black Beauty was towed away last year.
Brandy
"Photography by Samantha, who demands credit" is perhaps the funniest thing I have seen on a blog in SUCH a long time!! Geez, I miss you guys.
OMG - Congratulations ..
Awsome news!!
Erin- question for you that has nothing to do with your post. Do you cut Sarah's hair yourself and if so HOW? I can't get my daughter sit still long enough just for a little trim up on her bangs ( they end up not being straight).
Okay, so because I boycott the computer on weekends, I'm late {again?} with the bday wish. sheesh! See how time's just not my friend. :-)
Happy belated b-day {for real this time} hope you had a fabulous one!
Oh and if you watch America's Next Top Model, the girl from AL, Brit, got a weave and although she was a whiner anyway, I think that the weave she got might scare anyone from the process. So you just let that pixie grow out, it's cute!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIN! hehe, all your little commenters are crackin' me up - i love your blog =)
Shana, Sarah has had about five hair cuts. One from a kid's hair place, one from the GAP stylists, and three from me. I usually do it while she's eating a snack in her highchair. She ends up eating a few strands that fall onto her tray but that's a small price to pay for straight bangs! I've really only worked on her bangs though. The rest I'm just letting nature handle.
Yay, 11 days!! I'll be the one that's super happy about it. And your hair looks great. If you're having a hard time growing it out, I'd never know. Long live lil' Tan and long live strings!! Remember I still have my little pink neon that I got when I was about to turn 16 and I just turned 27. I can't let it go!!
And glad I inspired something :)
